A Playlist of Holiday Songs For Those Who Are Sick of Holiday Songs

Maybe the worst thing about holiday tunes is the amount that they are overplayed. No disrespect to the classics, but there are some out there that have worn out their welcome, and only being blasted 1 out of 12 months of the year doesn’t help.

Perhaps you’re ready for something a little different. Maybe you’re worn thin from gift shopping, and decorating, and baking, and getting the snow tires on. You could be on your last nerve after a particularly challenging year in general.

Here are 12 non-classics, one for each of the twelve days of Christmas (relax, that one isn’t on the list anywhere. Yeesh). Some are sassy, some are silly, and some are sarcastic, just like most of us are by the time New Year’s rolls around.

I stand by #7. Don’t you judge me.

Now, take off the fake smile, get yourself a cookie (or seven), and have a listen. Happy Holidays!
