A Playlist For The Curious
Meredith Monk muses that “Curiosity is great antidote to fear.” I like to think that curiosity can also take a giant bite out of hate (no surprise, as fear and hate are pretty chummy). It’s not foolproof, but setting aside assumptions for a minute and picking up something new can help use shake off a bit of negativity.
Seeing that we seem to have a bumper crop of hate at present, I present to you a collection of tunes that inspire us to take a closer look at ourselves, others, and the world around us. It couldn’t hurt to try, right?
Have a listen, and give yourself a little extra space to think and explore. Then maybe go learn about someone or something new.
